Boron is a micronutrient required for plant growth. Without enough boron in the soil, the plant begins to lose flowers or fruit. Its function is to strengthen the cell wall and cell. Boron maintains a balance between sugar and starch and is important in pollination and seed breeding. Boron is absorbed as boric acid by plant roots.
